We first bought the villa in 2016. This was the first time that we have owned a property abroad and we could not be more delighted with Casa Providencia. We loved the living space, especially the master bedroom and ensuite, but also the views, both day and night from the large lounge picture window.

 

In the past seven years we have invested significantly in the property, but without detracting from its essential charm and Canarian feel.  This has included wall-to-wall window/patio doors in the master bedroom, completely modernising all three bathrooms, installing air conditioning units and double glazing, and replacing the beds to provide a good night’s sleep for all.  There is now a direct fibre high speed internet connection.

 

The outside space was a dream come true for us. The large heated pool and sea views from the landscaped garden and terraces are the icing on the cake.

 

We have carried out improvements here as well, adding a Hot Tub, complete refurbishment of the pool, new patios and sun deck areas at the rear of the property and a newly paved area at the front.

 

We have reduced our carbon footprint by fitting LED lamps throughout, by adding solar water heating, and solar mats and an Air-Source Heat Pump for the pool and solar panels for the electricity.

 

We love the village location of Gűime, with its popular Bodeguita, yet appreciate being only a few minutes’ drive from beaches, restaurants, the marina and the striking landscape of La Geria and Timanfaya National Park.  The surrounding local area offers some interesting walks.

 

All our guests will be well looked after by lovelanzavillas owner Rossi, who speaks English, Spanish and Italian, and will make sure that everything goes smoothly for you.
